Happy What’s Happenin’ Wednesday!
If you’re following us on Twitter, you probably already know how excited we are about the meal kits that are now being offered from Little House Green Grocery. I’m a big fan of meal delivery services like Blue Apron so I can’t wait to give this local version a try! Each kit includes ingredients and recipes for a complete meal for two.
In need of a smile? You should probably watch this Broadway version of Carpool Karaoke if you haven’t already seen it. Warning: I haven’t been able to get “One Day More” from Les Miserables out of my head since watching it last week.
You guys. I checked out the new Peter Chang spot in Scott’s Addition last week and no surprise, it was amazing. If you go, order the Szechuan cold mixed noodle snack which is a steal at only $3 in addition to being one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
I’m guessing I’m not the only one who has hopped on Google while out at a restaurant before, wondering what an item or phrase on the menu meant. Enter this handy guide from OpenTable, where they decoded 25 of the most misunderstood restaurant terms.
If you’re craving a good sandwich for lunch, look no further than Cuisine A La Carte on Patterson Avenue. The ABC and Herb Cheese Delight are two of my favorites. They do boxed lunches, too!
Heading to a cookout this weekend? BuzzFeed’s got you covered with 17 tasty sides to take to a summer potluck.
In case you wanted to treat yo’ self (or a friend), Richmond has a new local flower delivery subscription service, Noon Flora and Bloom.
